It was the perfect size room. A little outdated style, but it was clean, and that's all I care about. What made it nice, was the room had an amazing view of Lake Huron, and had easy access to the beach. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee, while watching the sun rise over the calm lake. It was also quiet, for a majority of the time throughout the day in the hotel. There was occasional noise from people moving around inside/outside, or from house keeping. But everyone was quiet after 10pm pretty much. The staff were also very nice and helpful. For example, the hair dryer in the room didn't work, so I asked the front desk if could have a new one, and after 40 minutes I think?, the maintenance man came by to give me a new one. It was done in a timely manner, and I appreciated it.

It is 2nd time staying this summer. The room is quiet and spacious with a beautiful lake view. The beds and pillows are comfortable. In the morning you can see the sunrise from the balcony. The air is so fresh and the water from the faucet is good. It is located in a quiet part of Mackinaw City. The building is solid but the interior is getting worn out. I would stay here when we are in town. Highly recommended!

The staff were very friendly and helpful to whatever needs or questions we had. We would stay here again. The rooms were nice. A little dated, but, clean and spacious. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, so I'm not sure how it is but we did grab cups of coffee on the way out. It was hot and flavorful. They give you plenty of options to make it the way you like it.
